Tré
I created a life-size brown-throated sloth for my Creative Honors Thesis. Naming him, Tré, I built a connection between his anatomy of being three-fingered and the Spanish word for three. Tré serves to be a model of a sloth for educational purposes, and is based off of extensive research to zoos, with The Sloth Institute in Costa Rica, and from online databases. The model was constructed mainly using spray foam, faux fur, and porcelain clay. The model was set in a greenhouse for photos to depict him in the natural habitat of a rainforest.
